Default Exhaust, Mufflers, Tips - Pics???

From an aesthetics standpoint, my muffler and tip need some work - the car is in such great shape, but the rusty/dirty muffler with the stock oval tip looks a little weak. Rather than cleaning them up and replacing the tip, I'd like to do a complete replacement.

I'm wondering what you guys have done in this area versus installing an entire catback system (i.e. universal mufflers, tips, etc.)

Pics and any other pertinent info (i.e. pipe OD, muffler length, etc.) would help.

Thanks guys!

I have some rust and a hole just after the muffler and before the final tip part. I haven't decided what I'm going to do. The hole is so small, it's not a big deal really and I think I'm going to leave it for now. Other than that my exhaust is in good condition.

I would like to get the SFR exhaust, but I'm going to wait until next year probably before I replace the exhaust.

My exhaust is mechanically & structurally fine. It's the appearance that needs help. As for the SFR group buy, I don't have $600 to spend on exhaust right now.

A breif moment of sarcasm: "Yeah - maybe I should just buy a couple cans of $2.50 True Value Spray Paint and a 4" Ricer Tip - that would do the trick!"

Hasn't anyone had a really clean car with a cruddy looking exhaust? Suppose I could spend $50 bucks on the OE Tip and clean it up a bit.

Just thought maybe someone has done an update other than a catback.

That's sweet. Maybe I'll sell the extra set of 18" Cups and get me a catback!

The stock exhaust tip is oval. Finding one is gonna be difficult. The round ones just don't quite look right for some reason, especially on a 951 because of the shape of the opening in the rear valance. I think a dual-tip muffler would be perfect. Or a rounded rectangular outlet would match pretty good as well. Like this Saab muffler:

Looks like one of these might work:
