Default Belt Change Help Please..

OK. Here is the deal with my car. I have a 1990 944S2 Cabrio with about 150K. The belts need to be changes ASAP. I'm looking to do the Timing, Balance, Water Pump, Alternator, P/S and cam chain belts with the tensioner top pad. I have some tools but I don't have the $500 belt tool.. If I get all of the supplies is there anyone down here is South Florida (Boca Raton) that can help with with the job.. I'm offering some cash and a great dinner of your choice... Nothing to outrageous. Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated. Also, i think i also have a small leak in my radiator..

Thanks for any help,

Evan

You can get a Kricket tool at autozone or something, many peopel here have used it, but there are good and bad reviews. but the price is around 15.00.

Good luck.

You don't need to use the P9201 tool for the timing. A lot of people do it with the napa version and I do it by feel. Then after the 1500-2000 miles are up just take it in to have it tension or use the napa version Kricket tool. I'm here is St.Petersburg but I don't know where Boca Raton is I heard of it but I really don't check maps often.

the kricket works fine, just tension at least half a dozen times until you get a feel for it.

Like other's have said, the kriket will work fine on the belts. My grandmother lives in Boca Raton, so I know exactly where it is. Unfortunately, I live in Atlanta, so 600 miles would be kind of a long trip. I know that there was another lister in Boca Raton and a couple of others in Ft. Lauderdale, so maybe they can help you.
