Question headlight problem... help.

Hi. I am having a bit of trouble troubleshooting a headlight problem. My right, passenger side low beam is not working. The bulb is good and the fuse is too. I visually checked all the wiring when I had the motor out. The wire print shows one relay for high beam and one for low. any suggestions where to go next? hmmm, Mabyee I should check for resistance between the fuse and bulb wires, or the switch and relay, or fuse??

Don't know about the newer 944's but the early ones have a fuse for each headlight filiment. 2 high beam, 2 low beam fuses.

Later cars have the same fusing: one for each filament in each light. Total of 4.

944_S_Type, I'd like to see this car you have because I've never seen a relay for the stock headlights. Fogs, yes. Headlights, NEVER. Something the engineers did that I have never figured out other than cost issues.

So check fuses and then the wiring by headlight bucket where it flexes. Poor wiring will fracture there from the flex stress. Besides no relays, Porsche used some of the poorest quality wire made by man. No Joke.

Yea sorry, My bad. I did not look close enough at the wire print. I did find the problem. The wire between the bottom of the fuse box and the lamp was open. I found it and it works great. Thanks....
