Looks like a Bursch 4-2-1.

Looks like an MSDS 4 to 1 header. I've used a few of these on 944 Race Cars. On the dyno, the Bursch is better.

Thanks SoCal for the post here. I can upload here not the other"white meat" forum!

According to seller they are not Bursch. I do believe the seller is honorable...?

They are supposed to be early 924 Anti Reversary headers but do not fit the early model. 944 na's only

Does Bursche stamp its name on the product? This header and test pipe which is no where close to a Bursch bypass is new never installed just laying around for a decade or so.

So is it possible the header is a "odd ball" make? I would like to go with the consensus here but still not sold as to the brand.

Notice the forward most flange, the mounting holes are elongated, does Bursch or MSDS have elongated holes? TIA!! Dal

no, Bursch headers are different than that. The collector and down pipe are longer and farther away from the ports than that. Could be an MSDS or maybe someone even custom made it... Here's a picture of a Bursch header.

The Bursh tri-Y design (4-2-1) is the way to go. It'd give you a lot more low-end torque than the 4-1 header shown above. The 4-1 is good for higher peak-Hp figures for bragging rights, but the car won't be as fast as one with a wider torque-curve using the 4-2-1 header.

I was just under a 924S with that Bursch header and test pipe, Bursch catback too, only someone had welded an extra lump into the catback. Someone said the lump was an aftermarket cat but it looked more like a resonator.
