Default help! speed sensor!

ok...my car's in the shop and they're saying that the crankshaft or something isn't reading the new spec flywheel i got....the problem they said is that the stock distance between the dowel pin and the speed reference sensor isn't working so they needa get a new distance or something like that...any ideas? thanks

Referance sensors? Sounds to me that it is the sensor. The car doesn't start right?

hmmm. im pretty sure it is the sensor but they're pretty adamant about it being the gap even though i told them earlier that its prolly the sensor...actualy i just got a call right now and they told me that since the sensor is intermitently detecting the stuff it's hard to get a reading...right now i think he's giving up and is gonna order a new sensor for it....i was supposed to get my car back monday night but every day they push it back one more day...right now it's looking like i'll have to pick it up monday...this REALLY bites
