That's Shaun's - Mideastmafia's car. He's since sold that car and now owns a BMW.

He painted the car himself, with lots of sanding.

944_S_TYPE,

Pushing in the bumper is a pretty easy project. You can probably do a search and find detailed directions, but I'll give you the short of it.

There are two large holes underneath the bumper that give you access to the two bolts holding the bumper on. Remove these, and pull out the bumper, while at the same time unhooking the blinker lights. Then the bumper will pull right out. The bumper is held on by two bumper shocks, which you remove and drill a whole into to release the fluid inside. You take the pads off the bumper, grind down the little nubs underneath, and reinstall the bumper shocks UNCOMPRESSED. Then put the bumper back on, reconnect the lights, then you push the bumper in with your knees as far as you want.

Note that you will have a couple of holes in the front of the bumper now. You can deal with these however you see fit.

If you have more questions, PM me and I'm happy to help.

Hope that helps.

After getting hit in the rear in a parking lot, and having zero total damage due to the bumper shocks compressing and doing their job, I'd be really hesitant to push in the front ones. Just my opinion though.

Ditto.

Except that I've been hit seven times.

Not that I'm saying whether or not someone should do the snub-nosed mod or not. I'm just making a vote for the "against" side.

Ihave a guy here in Florida who is trying to talk me into installing "Lambo" doors on my NA. I saw some he installed on an Escalade, a Mustang, and a new RX 7 (?). Looks and works really well, but on a Porsche?? I don't know.

The black car, Shaun's, was painted by him using spray can paint! He also replaced the Phonedials with Polished Fuchs which looked very nice.
