Default Just bought r100 Sparco Seats

Hi friends,
I'm posting this in case anyone else has considered these seats.
What I had:
1st: oem Recaro (Pros:Comfort. Cons: Heavy and limited to 3 point seat belt & driver's side was worn)
2nd: Sparco Sprint (Pros: looked neat. Could fit racing harness. FIA certified. Very lightweight & compact. Cons: ingress/egress a pain. Very uncomfortable for long trips).
So I just sold my Sprint seats and got these.
Pros: So comfortable, comparable to oem Recaro. Very high quality. Double locks. Works with 3 and 4 point harnesses. Mounted perfectly to my Sparco Sprint bottom mount base. Cons: The plastic side lever covers are really low quality. Not racing grade safety. Heavy. Bulky (thick in every way), so in my case I will have to make adjustments-I'm sitting like 3 inches higher than with the Sprints/but probably comparable to oem seat height (but I'd say these are even more bulky).

How timely; I have just been eyeing these for my 951, though would prefer fabric. Nice to hear the positive impressions. When you say bulky, do you mean for instance that the seat bottom foam is extra thick? I mean they can't be much more bulky than factory sport seats. They look great!

Yes seat bottom and back are thick. The seat is tall as well. If you need any measurements I'd be happy to respond.

Aivar88,
Did you buy the Sparco or Corbeau sliders for the R100 seats? Were you able to use the same bottom mounting brackets on the EVO2 and R100?
I am just using the brackets I made for the Sparco Sprints (which already position the seat about as low as possible) and would be concerned with not having enough room. The rollbar limits going back further.

i used sparco sliders, for that i had to enlarge two holes on the sliders, turned sliders upside down, and drilled two new holes on the bottom bracket/plate and then was able to use corbeau seats with sparco sliders and floor plate.

I was considering these as well to reduce the oem seat weight. They look good.
