Looks like I'll be there, I don't have an engine to swap in any more.

Hey Mark, i just thought about something...Your car didn't have those ferocious red racing stripes on it when i saw it last? Is that a new addition?

Tony,

Those stripes are meant to fend off gravel hits when I'm on the track. I wanted it to echo the old 550 Spyder's rear fender stripes.

If my car gets out of the shop, you may be seeing a whole bunch more racing decals in preparation for club racing.

I think it looks good actually! So they come off? Or are they vinyl, and semi-permanent like stone guards?

Thanks, Tony. It gets lots of compliments but it's a tad wrinkly up close.

It's RTA sign shop vinyl and will come off with a hair dryer.

I was just wondering if any of the VA people would be meeting up at springfield mall and caravaning up to MD like we did last time?

Mike,

I'm not sure. I'm about to take the plunge and get the Motons, literally in about five minutes!

Last call for the meet and drive! If anyone would like to join our little get-together, let me know here. Similarly, if you have to bail out, no problem; I just need to inform the restaurant.

A couple people have asked what to do if it's supposed to rain. Weatherunderground.com says it's supposed to be sunny and in the 70's, so I'm hoping they're right. If the weather does look like it's going to be wet, stay tuned to this thread so I can notify everyone of the postponement, which I'd like to make no later than Saturday.

See you all soon!

I may have to bail out but I won't know for sure until Friday. Either way I'll post back on here.
