power steering pulley removal?

If you have power steering there IS a separate pulley. There are 4 bolts holding it on. If you feel around the edges you'll notice. You can probably pull it all off as one unit if you decide to remove it. I, too, recommend the lock having done mine w/o (was replacing head gasket - used rope trick ) If you do separate the pulleys, make sure you line them up correctly when replacing or you will have NO oil pressure. hey michelle i forgot you lived so close, whats this rope trick? The power steering pulley is a seperate pulley but the only bolt holding it on is the crank bolt. the pulley is kind of a funnel shape on the inside that just goes down to that one crank bolt.
