I believe Carl Nall had a procedure, he has a very very nice set of polished wheels. From what I remember, first use EZ-OFF and SOS pads to get the anodized layer off of the aluminum. Then it is a series of polishing pads on a high speed buffer and polishing compound. Try doing a search, this has come up before.
