Default Finally, my new car.(Pics)

Finally finished jumping through all the hoops. Car was from Seattle, imported into BC. If anyone need some help/info on importing cars into Canada, let me know.
Any idea what these wheels are? They have been painted, there is gold anodizing in the inside. 16 inch, 7 in front 8in rear.

Looks like BBS wheels or could be a knock off of them. If you take them off I believe that BBS would be on the back somewhere.

Is the car lowered? Looks very low to me. Front bumper is pushed in, a common NA mod. Also, the side marker light is covered, why?

Scott, I have no idea why the side markers are like that. Personally, I dont like it. I have some slightly used markers to replace them.
The suspension has been setup for autox and DE/racing, so yes it is lower. Konis w/ coil overs in the front, and a 30 mm torsion bar if I remember correctly in the back with Konis too. Its been corner weighted/balanced. My intention is to cage it next year and race it... sun roof delete too.

It actually looks alot nicer in the pics. There are an awful lot if dings and chips.

What is needed for importing a car into Canada?

I think it is,

Bill of sale/Title
Letter from Porsche saying "no open recalls"
U.S Customs needs to check out the title for 72 hours.
Pay GST/Duty +$100 cnd for the A/C tax at the border
Then get it inspected at Canadian Tire
Register with ICBC pay more TAX (Isn't Canada Great?)

Did I miss anything?

JB, pretty close!

Driving to the Wash. border requires a Wash permit ($23 I think it was). You can get a "binder" from the provincial insurance corp. in BC to transport the car from the border to your destination(Must go direct, do not pass GO do not collect $200).
If the car is less than 15 years old, you have to go through the "Registrar of Imported Vehicles" program too. Which requires a Federal inspection in addition to the Provincial vehicle inspection.
No it was not fun, but certainly would be easier the second time round.

The wheels are either BBS or some knock-off. Mine look identical (except color). Same sizes, even. Mine are "MSW." At least, that's what the one intact center cap had on it when I bought the car. I find no actual brand marked on the wheel.

Congratulations - the car looks great!

Nice car! LOVE the color & the BBS wheels.

The front lip add on I could live with or without, but it's not my car, it's yours!

Enjoy!
