I don't know who Brion is or what's in your shop but a trip down to do an alignment with you guys sounds like a great plan. I did the manual rack conversion and just set up the toe using some string relative to the rear. Can you believe it drives straight & doesn't pull? Of course it's not proper but seems good enough to wait. The current tires are my old winters and this is probably their last season anyway...

That Just sounds so weird to me... snow tires on the 44 LOL.... Hubstands.. like this... This is how I align ....

PS.. if you've never driven a 944 in sub-zero temps on a highway..crisp dry sunny winter morning... you're missing out; there's something special about these things when it's cold!

been caught in my 44 years ago when it started to snow... but there is something so satisfying about blasting down the road in the Audi Quattro with blizzacks... the old ones were so much fun with the “air lockers” for the diff... drift-fest in the way to work on the backroads! The newer ones are not as much fun

Ahh... yes.. in the snow, not so much fun.. esp compared to an old Audi... but on the cold and dry days.. I dare say I almost prefer driving the 951 on a cold dry sunny day vs a hot August one!
