as of now my car is sitting at TDC waiting to have timing redone. i have concluded that the problem with my car dieing was the DME relay as the fuel pump wont turn on wiht the relay in place. when i bypass it it turns right on.

also now while i was messing with that and turning the ignition on and off i could hear a strange sound.

i charged the battery up with my truck then i turned on the ignition to see if the fuel pump was turning on. to my suprise this loud "paper crunching / sparking electricity / crunching sand" type of sound is coming from my cruise control controler right in front of my battery. anyone have any ideas? thanks
