Default Removing Lower Crank Girdle

I have been disassembling a 968 block today. Have it all the way down to the crank girlde. Oil pump is off. All nuts and bolts are off the girdle. When I pulled up on the girlde, the crank started coming with it on the flywheel end. Is that because the rear oil seal is still in there? Anything special I need to do to get the seal out and/or to separate the crank from the girdle in the rear? I'm sure I'll figure it out when I get back to it, but thought I'd check for tips. Thanks in advance.

Ok, it's out. Once the oil seal came out, the girdle popped right off.
