You are not going to see a seperated HV coil wire from it's L shaped connector by looking for arcing. The weather boot effectively covers this area. You have to give the wire a pull and twist. Same with all of the other wires. These are screwed into the connectors.

Hi, The idle stab. valve is under the intake on the 944S. My car used to make all sorts of weird pops and strange noises .... It was popping back through the intake. I changed my injector seals and the problem quit. I had some cracked caps. I am guessing it messed up my spray pattern.
