Looking to retrofit a 968 outside temp sensor and display in the 951. Where is the outside temp sensor located? Do you have a p/n for the sensor? Wiring diagram for the entire system?

I have the 944 series manuals with wiring diagrams, but this obviously does not cover the 968 series.

Any help is appreciated.

 

Outside air temp sensor is inside the passenger side mirror housing on the 968. Small portion of it sticks out from underneath the mirror. Wiring is part of the harness connection for the mirror. In PET, it is in section 809-05

 

I wonder if you can rig something using the standard 944 hvac outside temp sensor.
