I just noticed this reply- In addition to this, I would presonally recommed (& I hate to hurt anyone's feelings- if you've already ordered the 968 ones, they're fine) to just remove & PAINT your stock 944 handles & be done w/it- several people here have painted their stock 944 handles body color & theye look REALLY good- If I had to doover again, that's what I wouold do, but, then, I'm STIL running around w/my fu**ing door loakc cycling incorrectly from the install- of course, the handles LOOK nice

This is a pretty decent price- I'm assuming this is for EVERYTHING- I paid exactly $100 for the pair of handles themselves from Don Rosen a couple years back- that's w/PCA discount., but, Sunset offers the discount too- there are two things you can eliminate- I paid <$150 for EVERYTHING & I STILL got the 968 trigger levers- I did eliminate the pieces that go into the doors that connect to the back of hte handles- they are not listed here- it's actually probably easier w/out them anyway- definately cheaper... I mention this in my long reply on the 1st page of this thread...actually, I mention it below too- I just decided to reprint it- here's a part's list, etc-

944.537.661.04 G2X Door Handle, Left $88.94($65.00) - $50.84 DR
944.537.662.04 G2X Door Handle, Right $88.85 ($65.00) - $50.84 DR
944.537.611.00 Rosette, Left $25.93($18.00) - $11.43
944.537.612.00 Rosette, Right $25.93($18.00)- $11.43
944.537.621.00 Base, L (gasket) $2.24 ($4.00) - $1.00
944.537.622.00 Base, R (gasket) $2.24($4.00)- $1.00
944.537.631.00 Base, L (small gskt) $2.95($2.00)- $1.28
944.537.632.00 Base, R (small gskt)$2.95($2.00)- $1.28
944.537.671.00 Control Lever, L $11.65 ($7.00)- $5.14
944.537.672.00 Control Lever, R $11.65 ($7.00)- $5.14
944.537.655.00 (x2) Tension Spring $2.56($1.55)- $2.28
944.537.243.00 (x2) Clinch Pin $0.79($1.00) - $0.70
900.309.041.00 (x2) Pin 2x12mm $0.46 ($0.26)- ?????
999.218.079.02 (x2) Screw M3x5 self-locking" $1.59 ($1.00)- $1.43

Original prices & totals were dif & the addition was wrong, so, I've listed MY totals out to the right- first list was probably actual cost, second, in parenthesis, was probably PCA discount, & my # was the PCA price too, but, they COULD have changed. MY total was:
$46.52- this is w/OUT #900.309.041.00 (x2) Pin, as I ordered them seperately- I'm pretty sure they were not on this list to begin with & I have lost that tiny reciept- I bought MY actual handles from Don Rosen (Philadelphia) @ $50.84 each- that was w/POC discount, as Sunset will also do- Sunset seems to USUALLY be cheaper though, but... Anyway, I ALSO left off a piece, that I do not know the part # for & it was NOT listed on this list either- it is the piece that goes down into the door that connects to the backside of the handle & actual lever/trigger- the connection piece is smaller for the 968 & the handle is machined to fit perfectly- the WHOLE part is a BITCH to install, evindently, & is mentioned on Keith Foster's 968 handle install site:

http://www.951motorsports.com/968DH.htm

Keith mentions the part I'm referring too in his write-up- I dremeled the backside of the handle a little, to make the larger 951 one fit- this works fine if you're careful, & saves you ~$40 total, IIRC... You can ALSO use the original trigger/levers instead of the slightly longer, more curved 968 ones & save a few more $$$- I'm referring to part #944.537.671.00 AND 944.537.672.00- the control levers- thay aren't much $$ though, evidently- I didn't know I could reuse the old ones till later, but that's okay & I kept the new ones since sending them back would cost a few bucks & hassle, & didn't cost much anyway...

Keith ALSO has a 968 aero mirror site- these are BOTH EXCELLENT articles that HE wrote to help others avoid the problems HE had to go through when installing his- it was a PITA for him, as not many people had done this mod at this time- the mirrors:

http://www.951motorsports.com/

At any rate, to get everything for $200 is not that bad of a deal though- I would have been greatful to get it all for that at first, considering all the digging I had to do- of course, no one has to do that now...
