I put redline in and it works great. Have had it now for about 5 months. Smooth shifting.

For 3 years and 40,000 miles when it's cold for the first 1/2 to 1 mile my first/second sometimes second/third shift has been kind of difficult, notchy is a good word, worse as it gets colder.

Previously I ran name brand 75/90 dino., recently I changed to Swepco and it seems to have gotten worse. But only the first couple shifts.

I thought this would go to Redline, interesting. When I do the tranny fluid soon, I'm droping in some redline myself.

my tranny's filled with swepco. it's true that the shifting can be a bit stiff until the tranny warms up. but once you're warm, it's silky smooth shifting from there.

Swepco fluid is at its best right at the beginning. It slowly gets worse...or mayeb im just used to it? From people who have used both swepco and redline, nearly all prefer the redline fluid. Its synthetic as well, unlike swepco.
