Boost enhancer just fools the KLR and is just a restrictor. You still have a cycling valve which controls boost underneath your intake. Simply connect the rubber hose from the banjo bolt to the hardline thereby omitting the boost enhancer.
@Seattle 993 , thanks for the reply. That's what I thought, but this has been on there since I picked this up. The small length of hose attached to the banjo bolt is quite frayed and I believe this was installed at least 12-14 years ago. I'm removing this for smog as it's the only thing visible under the hoods that's not stock. I'll stop by the auto parts store and get two new lengths of hose: 1) one to replace the entire assembly and 2) one to replace the frayed hose attached to the boost enhancer that I'll reinstall later.
This is one of those things that's so simple I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious since I'm new to the 951. So thanks again for your feedback. Best, 944Armadillo
