Default 944 starting issue

Thank you in advance for helping me on this elusive and frustrating issue. I have a 1983 944 manual with low miles. The car never had one problem starting until I tried to fill in some missing bulbs in the glove box and under the hood. After I did this the car never started on its own again. I bought a new Napa battery and still the battery drained, needs to be jumped and then when I drive it - it’s perfect! No issues at all. I drive it around for 30 minutes hoping that the alternator would keep the battery charged and when I get home and shut it off it fails to restart when I try it right away???

I'm assuming it’s a wiring issue but where do I even start? I’m an amateur collector with limited knowledge of wiring. Does anyone have a technique on how to find or troubleshoot where the battery drain might be coming from?

thanks again!!

That's easy. Undo what you did with the bulbs!

Sorry! I should’ve added that I removed the bulbs but fear I might have shorted something in the electrical system.
