Default Cant Get It Right!

I took off my dash last night to do some upgrades/repairs to the lights. I placed in LED lights and cleaned out the rear connectors, things look GREAT now at night. BUT, the steering wheel is mis-aligned!!!!! took it on and off and tried readjusting, NOTHING! do i need a front wheel alignment to get the steering right? or is there a trick or fix for this?

You should be able to line it up pretty close if your alignment was good to start with. Drive it, check how much it needs to be moved and make a note of it, and try adjusting it. Thats one of the things you are suppose to mark the position of before you take it off. Its only 1 nut, so it shouldn't take too long.

You should be turning it where the hub attaches on the spline. It sounds like you have it a tooth or two off.
It's 1 24mm nut.
