I've been a 'member' then as long as I have been a member here. I am even a moderator in one of the rooms (doesn't get much traffic, last I checked). I check there maybe once a week, I don't know why I bother since I don't even really read the posts. I just look for some good OT stuff...Zoltan does a good at ridding the 944 room of the OT and that drives me nuts. He'd probably move this to OT if he had the power.


Anyways, Rennlist rules!

I have 1000+ posts at Pelican compared to 1xx over here, but I like both boards. Back when I started posting at Pelican, it was a busier board than Rennlist, but now the tables have turned considerably.

I dont have time! That would be forum overload for me! HOURS is an understatement for the time i spend here. I do some occasional posting on the VW vortex for GTI stuff. I periodically browse the PCA region boards locally, and I am a semi-lurker on Ferrari-Chat. (no not for ferraris, in the other Italian section, because im a Lambo-holic, and I want to add a Gallardo to the stable)

If i started posting on posting regularly on Pelican, i would go nuts. I would never be able to get anything done. I used to browse some guitar forums, but since ive come to Rennlist, ive stopped. Its too much, one or the other!

I'm on both... the 911 board is more active over there. I tune into the Off Topic regularly on both though. There's some hilarious sh*t in Off Topic and I'd hate to miss any of it!

OPPS! Wrong forums! D'oh!! Stray: feel free to check the Pelican OT forums: they have been growing in popularity. (And those 911 boys really keep me on my toes in terms of moderating it! )

I find that the Rennlist forums typically have more social-type content, while Pelican has more technical stuff. I do check both equally, probably post more here, though.

Funny you should say that Z. I feel exactly the opposite. I have been reading and so far have seen virtually NO technical content. The 951 board there is really slow and I havent seen one interesting topic there yet.

Seems to be some good NA info though. I wish it was a little more clean to read, if you know what I mean.

I guess we are spoiled here, this forum has such a good layout.
