Default GT Racing Fiberglass 968 Rear Bumper question

Not sure if anyone has used the gt racing bumper....
doing a 968 conversion the "right" way with involved too many hours of labor and custom work... i wouldnt pay that much for something cosmetic.

Anyway, i asked the guy at GT-Racing if his glass 968 rear bumper fits a 944 turbo. He says he isnt sure but he knows it can be done because people have bought them before and they werent returned.... not quite reassuring enough for me.

He says one problem will be when we cut into the quarters and remove the rear bumper there will be nothing to attach the 968 bumper to..... no problem, i just need to have one of the guys at the shop make some type of brackets... break out the welder...

The thing that worries me is the lines of the bumper, the shape and side of the flares etc. fitting up to the 944 quarters , does anyone have any idea if it all works together?

Any other problems that may pop up that i might be forgeting?

I believe the flares of the 944 and 968, quarter wise, are the same, as many have done the conversion with factory pieces without modifying the quarters excepting the necessary cutting.

Best Wishes,
Sach
