Hey Campeck, as long as you bring one of your folks with you being under 18 isn't a problem, plus it's not really enforced that much because we are all in it for experience, young or old.

I was gonna say the same. You could have your parents release you to one of us as your guardian for the day...... but why not bring your pops? He's a P-car nut too.

Shoot an e-mail to Bob Clark (on members page) and let him know the situation.

seriously i really doubt they wouldn't let you run if you showed up with a 944 and your dad or somebody, that rule is just there to keep random kids with stock civics from coming. there was a bunch of pca guys at my house last night for a party my parents had and they agreed. If I were in your situation, I would come to the school and try to do that, just to show that you can handle your car without a liscense, then we'll see what we can do to help you get in the autocross if its a problem. if it doesn't work out, you could still have an awesome time riding with someone getting thrown around the course

Brian, sorry about your experience with the PCA guys. I'm one of them myself and have found everything to be quite the opposite (as a whole). I was nervous as hell when I went to my first DE at Road Atlanta driving an 83 944 with a primered front end. My thought was that if it rained everyone would drown (noses being turned up and all). Turned out I was wrong. Even had a guy trade cars with me for one run because his first car was Porsche was exactly like mine (he now has a 03 GT2). If you do decide to drop by I will let you drive my car (86 951). You can't miss it, the PO spray painted it white. It will get painted, but not by the event.

I'll come for moral and tech support... at least for awhile. I wanna see your car in person (or are you driving something else).
