Am I missing an sensor behind my dash vents? (1990 S2)
(1990 S2) - I removed the ac/heat vents from the dash so I could wash all the dust an grime out of them. Once I got it removed, I noticed a cable/connector in a small cable clip at the top of where the air from the ac/heat enters the vent louvers. It appears to be missing a sensor that was probably once installed at the end of the cable.
Can you guys look at these pictures and tell me if I am missing a sensor, and what does the the sensor do? Any chance you have a part number so I can order a replacement?

Update... After a little more studying of the wiring in the dash, I'm starting to think this is a holder for a light bulb, and not a sensor of any sort.
But, it seems kind of weird to have a light inside of the dash vents.
Does anyone know?
What size bulb does it take??
