So what about a cone in an S2 where there is nothing around it and its basically acting like a cold-air intake? It has its own opening for air from the outside and does not sit in the engine bay?

Why mess around with a cone air filter. On eBay there is a supercharger intake manifold for 16V heads. Why bother with just the air filter? Go all the way with that mod!

Im trying to keep stock look for concours. I guess you cant have both!
