HP Fuel line seeping, help me choose a replacement option.
The dreaded leak/seep has shown up. Original lines probably. What have others done? Not looking at replacing the whole rail at this point. The damper is seeping through the diaphragm as well. HP hose is seeping at the crimp into the damper.
Options:
I think i've settled on the Rennbay or LART Kit
1. new OEM hose and hardline
2. LR stainless braided (heard the AM stainless braided lines seep through the hose and are only good for 5-7 years, is this the case with the LR lines also?)
3. Something like what we see on the Arnworx pages.
4. Cobble something together from Amazon
if if I go with 3 or 4 I will like to switch to a more universal coupling method.
If if I go with 1 or 2 I’ll need to figure something out for the damper
Has anyone tried squirting carb cleaner into the crimp to get the rubber to swell as a bandaid ? Guess I’ll carry a fire extinguisher now...

I went with the Arnnworx parts on my 951. You will not be able to find many solutions that adapt to these metric threads. On my NA I have a BAT adapter to AN. Don't use amazon fittings and sure as hell don't try and swell the rubber.

If you like your car, I wouldn’t drive until I took care of this. I have LR lines, rubber with sheaths, because stainless steel is a heat sink and harder to detect leaks. Didn’t make any sense. Also, LR lines can probably be rebuilt very easily by a hydraulic shop should they fail.

I'm leaning toward the rennbay or LART kit.

I'm not into flashy fittings.
Experiences?

Yes, they are expensive. The price probably shot up because of a shrinking supply. It does seem unreasonable, yes, but all the car makers do this, as if by some automatic computer program. In the end, it is what it is. You can not compromise on safety.

I went with Lart's lines and ordered some heat shielding off amazon. My FPD idea won't work as i don't think there is enough hood clearance. There are inline versions as well. I know LR has a whole setup but im not big on the idea of pipe fitting NPT on fuel lines, rather go with AN or the metric equivalent.
