Belt Job
I was thinking that while I have the rad out I might as well do the belts, they have less than 2K miles on them but they were done 2+ years ago so I am not sure if I want to tempt fait. What is the consensus on what just the timing /balance belts costs no new water pump or rollers just changing the belt to be safe?

$50?? ya how much for this plus labor? How hard is this to do yourself?...you need a special tool dont you? Also what are the dangers of not gettin a new water pump and rollar kit if you dont know the condition of yours?

The factory recommends the p9201 to tension the belts, but many people have driven thousands of miles on belts tensioned by the $10 kriket (special order KR1 at Napa). If money is tight, you can check the bearings on the waterpump for any lateral play and check for any leaks. For the rollers, check to see if they spin smoothly. If you can afford to replace the wp and rollers, you should do it, as the job to get to them is not that fun.

If you dont know what your doing its not a do it your self job. Normally I would do it but I figure while I am having other work done might was well hit 2 birds with one stone. I Know the timming/water pump would of cost $800 at the P/O of my cars shop. I Just want to know what the price for just the belts have been for people not doing the whole job.

Hmm, if there are only 2000 miles on the rollers and water pump, you would be fine to just change the belts.
Although, for what it's worth, you could probably re-tension them (if they are out of spec on tension) and drive another year before you need to change them.
Pearceman3, I would be more than happy to teach you about the belts, you just have to drive to Calgary to learn!
