Default Which mods would you buy with a $1100 budget.

I'll be getting a re-enlistment bonus before to long and I'm trying to decide which mods I'd like to put on the car. Here is a list of some that I am considering. Which would you choose? Remember keep to $1100....

968 M030 Sway bars ~$550.
968 Aero Mirrors ~350
968 door handles ~$250
AIR or GT Splitter ~$250
KLA rear coil-over shocks~$560 (I already have 220lb spring up front)
Rebuild turbo to K27 ~$600
Lindsey racing exhaust kit (includes WG and MBC) ~$950
Koni strut kit ~$400 total.

Please consider the mods listed in my signature and feel free to make other suggestions.....

968 m030 sways and KLA rear shocks or 968 m030 with K27 rebuild

But you're leaving out injectors + a way to control fuel with the k27 addition. So I think your best bet in keeping to your $1100 goal is to finish the suspension. I'm not sure how the KLA stuff matches the koni's though...it seems to me that you'd want a similar shock on the front and rear of the car.

What do you have up front to get the 220# spring? Is it standard diameter or have you converted to coilovers?

I'm a couple of months away from the $$$ so I won't make it into the group buy. Trust me I tried to swing it.

adrial,
I thought of the injectors with the k27. If I went that route I'd have the turbo convertied and get the injectors. I'd plan to have an AFPR by then too. But I also think it's a better idea to get the exhaust and WG before the turbo....

cyrus, I won't be sacrificing DEs for mods. That's the best part.

You have all the exhaust you need for the K27...
A 2.5" test pipe & 2.5" cat back is fine... a 3" catback couldn't hurt, but there's better places to spend your money.

I dont think the AFPR is enough to control fuel, I expect you'll need a set of K27 chips at the very least. Thats not the best way to do it though, a better solution is a piggyback controller.

The turbo is a large gain, the exhaust and WG are small gains for similar $$ investment.

So, given your budget, I would stick with suspension.
