Even if is spam, it's not hurting us, as long as he's not giving us a big nonsense spiel about why his car is so good or being annoying in any way. I see no problem with this type of post every once in a while. It gives us the opportunity to make offers outside of ebay, plus we know that the owner is at least aware of rennlist, if not an avid lurker, which we wouldn't otherwise know.

In my opinion (which really doesn't count), I'd say that this isn't the greatest place to advertise selling your Porsche - most guy's here know where to look and what to look for - they probably don't need much help in that area. Parts, on the other hand, I can see. I'd be afraid to mention my car for sale here - you guy's know too much!!!

This guy's just showed up and hasn't contributed much.

The problem is that every time someone complains it gets bumped!

I dont think John D. puts in all of his time and effort into this site, so someone with less than 20 posts can get a classified add in on one of the biggest Porsche forums on the net.

Campeck, shut up and join your damn self. Seems you've had a lot to say in your short time here. Come up with the fee and join to show your support of the Rennlist.

John D, being as nice a guy as he is, probably don't really care that the guy posted his ad here. For me it's just the principle.

It just gets old people lurking on Rennlist to promote their Ebay ad. Most true members offer things here to everyone on the list usually before they even put it on ebay. All of ius here sees what is on Ebay, and if someone here is interested or amused we discuss it because it becomes a thread.

I think there are a lot of heavy users here that never join and that's just trailer park..IMO

If you use this board regularly, and do not have the $20 or whatever to join, you might oughta sell the damn Porsche. The wealth of info here is well worth it and the financial support of the list should be your thanks.

Off my soap box now.

Just an observation, the picture of his gauges...what is below the tach? My 944 has an mpg gauge and a 951 has a boost gauge, never seen the one he has. Just wondering what it was?

Cool, you going for Speed yellow, or another shade?

Is this on a 944, 951, ??

Don't forget to tint the windows! It'll give the car that awesome finish.

Check out OZ951's Sunburst Yellow 87 951:

a lil OT....but you guys were talking about how 18''s are bad for NAs. Ive searched and read about this on this forum and my latest question is.....how bad are 18''s on a lets say 83' 44 NA compared to a ricer car (lets say a 2000 civic or something along those lines).

I'm not against the colour "speed yellow" itself, what I disagree with is repainting the car, in the condition the owner claims it to be, a different colour other than its original colour. For collector's purposes he should have kept it gold.
T.Asay 44, I know what is on his tach. I have one in my car, because my car is in KILOMETERS. It is a Litres/100 kilometres metre. That SHOULD NOT be on a car that is in miles...something is very fishy about that car....bewarned, all of you...

I don't mind non-members posting cars/parts for sale if they don't try and B.S the condition. If a member does buy from them though they should send in the $17.95 and become a member.

Good call on the "check his past threads!" Somehow that car has 13,000 less miles on it than it did when he bought it in December!
