Drew,
I don't know of any reason that you would have issues retrofitting the old hatch to your '91. There'll be no shortage of people willing to trade, either. Post your location if you do purchase the '91. Someone will jump on it.

I'd be in! And I'd also be local if Drew wants to swap!

OK, update. It appears that they are willing to produce them and have actually been working on getting more. The information they provided is that it will likely be in the summer time. I asked if there were pre-orders if they might be able to speed the process. I have also asked about the possibility of a CF center section. I will let you know what they have to say. The vendor I am dealing with is a well known and liked vendor here, BTW.

It appears that the price is going to be about $550.00. They are looking into a CF version but the price might be FAR too high to be worthwhile. Anyone still interested.

What kind of run are they talking about? Is the price dependent on the size of the run? Or are they going to continue to produce these after the intial run?

I am looking at being in Texas the weekend of the 27th, so let me know if you are available.

Regards,

They want to produce enough to have in stock (my guess is about 25 or so). It appears they have contracted someone to build them for them, i.e. they dont build them themselves. That would mean, yes they would be available after the initial run.

Are you referring to Feb. 27th? If so, I will be available.

I didn't mean to start a feeding frenzy! Ha ha ha I'd probably keep the original so that I could put it back on when I sold the car anyway. Just curious...thanks!

Didn't 944racing sell theirs for a bit more than 400 bucks? Did they quit selling them?

I don't know much about them, but if they are adjustable, and make real downforce, then I'd be interested.

Hey Matt - Not sure if this is a stupid question, But will this include all the trim pieces as well?

Thanks!
