Hey all, i forgot to post this when i got back, but last time i was in Greece there was a 944 parked at the foot of the Acropolis. Does this belong to anyone? I thought it was kinda neat, just sitting there randomly.

I used to live in Athens, very cool place to visit. Where olympic village is now, is where I grew up. It used to be the US military base :>)

Looks like the Acropolis needs to improve their parking lot.

The acropolis doesnt really have parking. They are limiting the allowance of cars now. They are undertaking a big restoration effort as well, the pollution has apparently been taking its toll. There really arent parking lots ANYWHERE in Athens though, if you've been there, you know its crazy. So seeing a Porsche there was a very interesting site. A day later i saw what looked to be a race prepped Lotus Esprit V8 flying down the highway outside the town! Very cool. Athens DOES have a Ferrari and Porsche dealership though. I dont know where people put them...

I was born in Athens, Greece. Very nice place. Last time i went to Athens i seen many Porsche 911's, and many other fine cars. To tell you the truth i have seen much better cars in Greece then in Canada.

I have a lot of family in a few places in Greece. Its nice. I had gone right after they got that freak snow storm about a year ago or so. So i didnt see many exotics at all. The original Minis are everywhere though!

86 944 Turbo - what time frame were you there? I left for a time after the Communists took back over (they managed to ruin a great country in no time). Have not been back in some time. I am looking forward to going next year.

Where's your sign? - see 'Stupid people' thread in OT... LOL
I went to Greece a couple of times. stayed on the island of Crete for a couple of weeks both times. A very beautiful and interesting place. I really enjoyed the beaches (yes nude or topless) and night life in the clubs.....

Greeks never change, its a riot over there all the time. I love the new metro they have. (subway system) They think its soo fast and modern! Of course it feels fast...the stops are only minutes walking distance away from eachother! The new airport in Athens is a trip. Literally. Ive never in my life walked SOOOO far inside of an Airport. They honestly need Porsches for shuttles instead of those little carts.
