I just rented a new garage space nearer to me for my 944 project. I don't have my own garage but I got lucky (I hope)...this facility is right next to a custom paint and graphics shop and a friend of mine is part owner and they also do bead blasting and powder coating........now I can prep the car for paint myself and put her back together....of course I am excited about this as I was going to have to get someone else to do the whole thing....now I can get dirty and do her myself.......and just carry the wheels over to the next shop to get them refurbished....AND I can walk home from there if I need to....also the owner of the garages is a car collector (American cars mostly).....so he made these garages for car buffs to work on their cars.......
