its excellent work.... but there is not a single cue of porsche styling beyond the badge. Much more closely resembles a lambo.

Matt... I respectfully have to disagree... This guy custom made a molded body kit for a car that doesn't resemble anything else nor does it make false claims. Slapping a turbo badge on an NA isn't craftsmanship nor is it purposeful, tasteful, etc... all it comes down to is making a false claim. Might as well get one of those "electronic BOVs" that make the whoosh without the turbo (I think that is hands down the all-time gayest mod i've ever heard of!!).

I really don't believe the taillights were meant to imitate any car, though they were most likely inspired by other's designs. I hactually like the triple taillights on it. The only part I don't like about the rear is that its a bit to upward sloped and has odd angles/lines. The front looks way too rice for me (reminds me of a honda body kit, really... and a distasteful one at that).

But anyways... your PM box is full Just thought I'd let ya know... I'm hoping to talk to you about something when you get the chance to clear the PM box.

Take care

PM box is clear now.

Disagree all you like, it is no different that putting a body kit on a Honda. The fact that this kit is hand made does not make it any less ugly. The thing is hideous. I can understand a need to be different and the need to create something.

It has two sets of fog lights (we usually all that rice), it has a huge useless front air dam (also generally called rice), etc, etc. The list is so long I dont have time to type it.

German Rice = Kraut?

LOL, true...

BUT modifying a car doesn't necessarily constitute rice does it? (well, ok, Kraut) The front is totally rice, 100%, I agree with you on that, but the rear panel actually has some taste in it. The crest and the lights really impress me, I like the design. Overall, I respect the effort and quality, but I'd take the stock looks anyday over it. I agree with you there.

I still think it's not the same as slapping on a Turbo badge though... not only is that false imitation (RICE!!) it's also unoriginal (kinda like the VTEC stickers on SOHC Hondas) and lazy (at least this guy put hard work into trying to have something different -- wasted as it may seem to us)

The only thing I like about it is the rear fenders how the the spoiler sweeps up...I think it gives it more of a update...

the corvetter taillights...no...i say if he made it to keep the original tail light that would look better...

the front bumper i dont like at all...it looks too much like my friends integra body kit....too pointy....

My point is, if it's original.... then it's not rice. I drove a 3rd gen accord... great car, slow as ****, but took all sorts of abuse. Why put that down? I only put them down when people try to make them off as "sports cars" or "fast cars"... no they're reliable econoboxes (civics) and family cars (accords).

When people slap on stupid stickers and make a decent car ugly, or fake, thats when it becomes rice in my eyes.

Putting a Turbo badge on a turbo is perfectly alright; putting a Turbo badge on an NA is gay... that's just rice.

Oh, come on, you two. I know you're not fighting, but it seems to me that this has gone on long enough. You've spent what, 6 posts arguing about if you consider the bodywork "rice" or not? You both have your opinions, none of which are particularly right or wrong. Now give that poor Submit Reply button a break. ^_^; Anyways, as my on-topic contribution to this thread, yes, some of the design aspects may be over the top, but the fender vents look pretty good in some of the photos. I wonder if they have any function pertaining to the brakes or engine?
