Default Were original Teledials matte, gloss, metallic?

The company where I want to refurbish my wheels suggests ligther color than VAG silver and gloss paint on 16" teledials. However when I look on the pictures from the period, the wheels look matte. How is it then, were they matte, gloss, satin or metallic? I know hat the original color is 936-9-3, but Akzo Nobel doesn't respond so I have no info about which color in their palette was it.
This is VAG silver, there are D90s listed at the bottom: https://renowacjafelg.pl/galeria/wsz...lor-srebro-vag

Color is Silver Metallic #936, but as to the actual finish contact Jim Doerr of 928Classics, a while ago he replicated the original Teledial wheel in a forged 18in design.
