Default QUick advice on performance.

Hey people, my 86 turbo is in need of upgrades (simple ones). I was aiming for chips and then modifying the wastegate. What chips are recommended? steert legal (not a track car)? Plus, should i shim my wastegate, get a dual pot or a club gate? i know the differences, but im getting a good offer from Europroducts, they are selling a DME (digital motor electronics) and KLR (turbo control computer) chips with stainless wastegate shimplates manufactured by Europroducts. Sounds good?
