Yeah, I was kidding around...
But before I bought my 944, and heard his name mentioned here, I wouldn't have known who the guy was/is!
I can't go...I just got a great cold...must get better for the weekend's Valentines trip to the city--sans-baby!!

Hey Marc Gelefsky!
Let's see if you can guess who I am! I knew you from way back when...think bad Ethiopian food followed by hitting every rubber divider pole in the Lincoln Tunnel with a borrow Jeep Grand Cherokee!

Real well, Marc. You have no idea how many I tell the "Ethiopian Restaurant" story to. The best was Ken admitting afterward that he was baked the first time he'd been there! Oh, well...youth. Small world.
I'm living in bernardsville these days. I was trolling around here because I got a lead on a friend's friend's 944 S2 that is going up for sale, low miles, sound like a good car. My dad used to have a 951 back in 86-88, and of course I grew up in the 944 years, but I don't know much about the S2s. I've heard they are a kick. I was thinking of selling my Miata and picking this up as a track car. Whaddaya know about these things?

Drew:
The 944S2 is a wonderful track car: well balanced, nice bit of oomph. Great in the corners!
The trick to having years of trouble free track time with a 944S2 is to religiously maintain it!
-Z-man, very satisfied 944S2 owner!

Thanks for the feedback, Z-Man!
What is required on these cars in the way of service? (maintainence intervals, etc). This would be my first P-Car. I think this example I'm looking at is a 1991 model, less than 60k miles.
