Talking backroads in carolina

yep, it was nice in the Piedmont today. I had the ole girl running hard on the backroads. While on a lonely stretch of backwoods i see a set of headlights pop up on the horizon - as they get closer i make out the very low profile of a car and begin to imagine just what it might be. As it passes, i confirm it's a late model Lamborghini Countach. The first one i have ever seen in the flesh.

I see the guy - he's thinkin, "hey, that's a nice ole 944

HaHa, sure - anyway it was one of those moments, just us two on a quiet road havin fun.

(I'm thinkin one of the Panthers just cashed the superbowl check and bought himself a ring )

on the way home i pass a nice purple 944 (never saw it around before) heading north on 21 in Huntersville. We both gave the thumbs up.

life is good.

so where and when, and what was the curve factor?
used to know a few good roads when I lived in Belmont and Cornelius....
Also used to be a driver that didn't know the limits of his car, so all references may be in vain....

just local backroads here in NW Charlotte/Huntersville, not the kind of curves you find in the mountains.
