Front valence installation?
I posted about a week ago looking for advice on painting a used replacement front valence. Painting came out nice. I won't be able to tell how it truly looks until it's on the car. The installation looks fairly simple. I ran into a little trouble with the removal of the old front valence. How do I remove the side markers as well as the three bolts on the top of the sides?

You'll most likely have to pull the plastic fender liners. There's (going from memory) 2 at the rear going into the floorboard, like 2-3 near the strut. I think that's it, you have to pull the fender liner outward away from the wheelwell and off of the studs, then it will drop down and come out. I use a few extensions to get to the 3 bolts at the top, they're 8mm IIRC. After you get the fender liners out, you can get to the marker lights easily. Good luck. BTW, you don't have to pull the wheels off, yuo only need to jack the car up a little.

There is an access panel in the inner fender liner facing the front of the car in which you can squeeze your hand in there and undo the nuts that hold the sidemarkers on. You can get to the three top bolts with a long extension from beneath the car.
Very easy.
Very easy.

I second aribops method. I put my front valence on with the fender liners on the car. A bit tight in there but not too bad. You will use your sense of feel more than your eyes to change out the parts

If you remove the bumper it is easier....I just put mine back on and the three bolts on top were fairly easy with the bumper off.....I left the turn signal assemblies off at this point because she is going in for paint next weel or so.........
