Tampa Bay Area Meet

Called Fort Desoto you can't reserve a spot unless you have 50 or more people. So I will just show up early and try to find a place. If anyone has a good portable grill please let me know. Also be a good idea to bring lawn chairs as I may not beable to find a spot for us. What time is good for all of you? I want to go to the end of the part when you head to Fort Desoto the road ends you can either go right or left we will go right and all the way to the end there always is less people there and it's a sweet spot. Let me know the times and what everyone is bring.
Thanks

Ok great what times are good for you I'm fine with anything from 10 to like 5 since it will take an hour to get everything set up and made and I think the park closes at sundown so that will give us hour and a half.
7thStranger can you please bring your grill I will try to get a spot for us and I will show up early but in case we don't get one that is there we will have one.
Also lawn chairs bring your own since I don't know if we will have the shetter spots with a table but it shouldn't be busy. Anyone going feel free to call me 727-776-0483. What is everyone bringing? I have hot dogs and buns plus it looks like we will have a good amount of people so I will bring some chicken and some drinks.
So here is what we have Saturday the 28th Time unknown
Location Fort Desoto Park the last parking you can go to the right when you enter Fort Desoto. You drive to Fort Desoto the only road that leads in and out then you make the RIGHT when the road ends it goes either left or RIGHT and then you go all the way to the end and the last parking on your LEFT there and look for Pcars
Bring kids, girlfriends, wives, anybody you want. I will bump this when it gets closer. So check back by the end of next week.

Hey Allan,
I don't want to give the wrong impression or offend you at all... but I'm curious as to whether you have "spirited" drives in the 951. Also, what do you do in the circumstance of catching someone on a "spirited" run, say on an almost empty road.
A friend of a friend back home is a Fairfax County Police man (VA) as well as the president of his local mustang club... it was funny to hear stories about a white fox-body, with the plates reading Judge Dread (creative spelling) lighting up the tires at lights
Just curious really, though...

Hehe well it's funny you should ask ....To be completely honest i have made a few test runs in which needless to say the signs didn't say i was allowed to go 100+ mph like i was .....now to answer your real ? ....I don't write many speeding tickets to begin with <prolly 5-10 > a year ..i certainly try and do these things in a controlled environment <3am with nobody around>and expect that others should do the same ...But the Ricers who are in and outta rush hour traffic bother me the most and are most likely to get stroked ...i will the majority of the time tho cut people a break with a Verbal warning and a near Heart Attack haha
