eventually i'll get mine put on too (currently sitting under my bed awaiting installation). i'm not too keen on drilling those holes. edit: saw the reply. also, its going to take much more than just to 'slap an S head on there' for you to make it right. iirc the blocks are different, as is the dme, afs, and a ton of other goodies that went along with the upgrade. it would be a cool project, but make sure you cover all the ends before you attempt it

yeah. we had an S head pass through our hands about 2 weeks ago and i told my dad what i wanted to do. and he told me that the exhaust, dme, intake ect, ect, was different and that it was a project for another day.

the major project will basically be a complete engine breakdown and cleaning rebuild. when my dad's car gets back on the road mine will be stripped. I suggested i could get a rental car to go to work and get the money for the project and my dad said we could just get another 944....haha. which i geusse makes since. it would be cheaper. but this project might be a full year from now.

Yeah that was a great show....RUFs are sick.....That accident that they guy had in the mercedes back when Hitler was having those land speed records on the autoibahn must have been nasty, they said he flipped 5 times and landed 400m away....imagine that with no safety equipment..ouchies..-chris

yeah. they showed a video clip of a mercedes or bmw flipping, hitting the gaurdrail, then sliding on the roof for at least 200 meters then flipping again throwing the roof of the car off and the two guys geting out of the car and looking at it
all while saying german cars were expected to be of fine manufacturing!
nice....

Doh!

I didn't realize that parts of the valence are left black. I painted mine all red.

Campeck you'll like it when it's installed.

campeck - if you do have a broken stud, you might think about JB weld. i had a broken stud on my past 951 and the JB was just the ticket. got the right thread bolt set it in place in the valence, filled with JB and let it set. never had another problem with it. good luck!

I have the passenger side piece. Great condition, no broken studs. The only "damage" so to speak would be completely hidden once installed. I can send pics to anyone interested. You'd only need the small driver's side piece to complete the valence. $150 including shipping.
