Did you happen to catch this car on Saturday? It ran during the historic races. I thought I heard the announcer say it was a 944 turbo (?). Does anyone know anything about the car?

The car is owned by Nort Northam of Winter Park Fl and was built and prepared by Gary Stratton of Stratton Motorsports, also from WP. The car is an 1988 924S GTS conversion. The car is not a turbo but it has been cleared by HSR to run. Nort drives events all around the southeast and is very, very competetive with this car. That's Gary in the car and Nort is next to him in his '74 911 called, "The Bean"! The 924 went back to Winter Park in the trailer and Gary drove the 911 back on I-4. On the way home I got passed by the 911, full song in 3rd gear, music to my ears. BTW, Gary built for me, a street version of the 924 w/ 350lbs front spring, yellow adj. Konis all the way around, M030 bars and 7.5 225-45-17's & 9.0 255-40-17's w/ Kumos. The weekend after Valentines I'll have the turbo tie rods, new ball joints and the completely rebuilt gear box with the Quaife torque bias in the car. Oh, my car has a 4-point cage in it as well as a full tilt Alpine system with XM. Did I just get carried away?
