On the second comment, you can, some four post have the option of a middle pan that can hold jacks to lift the car and remove the tires... but too much work if you ask me I have decided on the two post.

Jaime--Go with the 2 post...they work great! We have one at the house here and the amount of $$ you'll save in labor on being able to do so many more things yourself will pay for the lift several times over.
Here's the setup we have here:
We're in the process of stripping out our old barn to convert it into a shop and we're going to move the lift in there..that way we can use it in the rain or the dark too.
