Well sort of...in the Years Ago section.
"The 944S2 cost about $25,000 less than the Carerra 4, at $45,000, and we called it the "recently refreshed practical Porsche," and "a feisty little sportster, perhaps the best Porsche for America."
The S2 managed an excellent 0-60 mph of 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of about 149 mph and superior braking and handling. We were less kind to the "improved 911 turbo...."
