I have 205/55r16 and 225/50r16 B.F.Goodrich Comp 2 tires mounted on 16x7 and 16x8 Maxilites wheels on my 1983 944 and love that combination. But I also have 24mm front/16mm rear swaybars too. Something to consider when going with a wider tire.
