I'd get a camera mounted in my car so I can have some proof to the harrasment charges.

Next time just step out of the car, hands in front of you and start chanting "add-ick-a... add-ick-a"

Ok Travis, not quite sure what to make of that.
As far as tickets go less than 20% of the time do they actually cite me for anything.

Hmmm...

I'd definitely be talking to them at the station to find out why this is going on. March right in and ask them what the H#$%?

Maybe you need some time away. Come on down 81 and visit some of your more southern NY Porsche friends, eh? Don't be a stranger!!!

The Canadians coming down in the winter provide enough tickets alone to ensure there job security for the other part of the year.
I dont have anything against our friendly neighbors to the north but you have to see what they do when they cross into south Florida. The first rule during this time of the year is never assume that its your turn at a 4 way stop. Even if it is, they will plow right through you and not stop for another 500 feet.
Last year, one of them ran a stop sign, hit a golf cart and killed the 60 year old lady AND her granddaughter (in the golf cart). All he had to say about that was... oops... ahy.
I bet you they all have Quebec license plates too. I swear to God I have never seen worse drivers in my life.

Anyway, back to the original topic

Next time they pull you over, just crack your driver side window, slide out your license, registration, and proof of insurance. As soon as they take it, roll the window back up and wait for the ticket. They love that

What do they say about your muffler, it sounds like that might be a big part of the problem. Why not get a quieter one? What do they say when they stop you about it?

Ive found upper NY state police over zealous in the past. I got two speeding tickets in one day, each time I was doing less than 15 mph over the limit. Tourist tax.

As for bad Canadian drivers in Fla., the fact they're mostly elderly might have something to do with it, eh?

Up here I notice the left lane hogs are often Americans, no one had a monopoly on bad drivers.

Document this and present it to the local TV news investigator. The newscaster/producer that likes to beat on the police.

I've seen too many small town cop shops that were on the margins of loosing control. This sounds like one of them.
