Default OT: Anyone need 993 Cup wheels?

Well I agreed to buy all these wheels before I wrecked my VW, so in the interest of my bank account I have the following wheels for sale

A full set of 993 Cup with with BFG R compounds with one full Drivers Ed Left on them.
Fronts: 993 Cups 17x8 (OEM) w/ 235/45's
Rears: 993 Cups 17x9 (OEM) w/ 255/40's

Full set of 17x8s and 17x9's with R compounds $1300

The wheels are in good shape, not perfect, but they are quite clean and i'll have pictures when the snow is off the ground.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A set of three 993 Cup wheels in rough shape, black centers, or i'll take the time to refinish them if the buyer wants.
Front: 1 993 Cup 17x7 (OEM) w/ no tire
Rear: 1 993 Cup 17x9 (OEM) w/ no tire
Rear: 1 933 Cup 17x9 (OEM) w/ kuhmo 712 255/40/17 or no tire

Rough 993 Cups $100 a piece as is
or i'll take the time and paint them as the buyer request (sand down, prime, paint) for a little more depending on what the buyer wants....

I will have pictures shortly.

My buying and selling as to stop (and it will as soon as I stop wrecking my daily driver, and paying for parts to fix the 951).....

Ian, I'm interested in the rough cup wheels. Send me a few pics of them if you can. Any interest in trading for a set of guru chips, FPR&LBE?

Nah, no need to trade, I just got those wheels for 100 a piece to I figured I would just try to turn them for the cash that I owe on them......

Ian,

Send me a few pics. Regardless of the trade I'm still interested.

Will an ET 70 17x8 work on the front of a late-offset car, w/o spacers? If so, I'd be interested in the whole set

thanks

The PO was running them on a 968 w/o spacers, so yes I would assume that means they will work on a late offset 951....

The VW will be coming back from the dead this weekend or maybe next, its not really that bad i'm just waiting on parts. (but life has not been so bad, I have been driving around my dads C2 Turbo to tide me over till the VW gets fixed)....

993 cups are cup II's or cup I's? I might be interested in the rough ones (assuming that they are in refinishable shape), Might as well refinish these instead of refinishing my PD's. What sizes & offsets? And of course some pics would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Are you referring to the 1x7" & 2x9" wheels as the rough ones....if so, what good are 3? Well I guess obviously you could just find a 4th one, but how easy is that to do ?

scootin,

3 wheels are good when they are cheap, and yes they could be refinished. If the race wheels sell first i'll keep the 3 and buy a 4 th....

Poor baby

I think I'd be taking a little longer to fix the VW if that were my loner car.

Yeah the C2 Turbo is nice perk, but i'm going to do a suspension install for him to repay him and I also wax it 3 or more times a year to keep it looking nice.
