Default Need Bay Area T Belt Help

I need to re tension my belts. It has been 1400 miles since I had a new set installed and the mechanic at the shop where the work was done has been sick since last Thursday. I am limited because I rent and the lease has a no working on cars clause in it.

Here is what I need:
1. place to work, outside is fine
2. Tensioning Tool, kriket, omnibelt, 9201 whatever
3. Some hand holding as this will be first time.
4. Within 15 miles of Redwood City
5. Tonight! Monday nights I am free, tomorrow I have my Daughter. Wednesday might work.

So just throwing this out there. I know I have to start doing this myself. The only place I can work on my car is at my Dad's in Grass Valley 150 miles away.

If you can help please let me know, my girlfriend is getting impatient! I'll buy dinner, lunch, six pack or what ever.

Thanks

It might be less hassle to bring it to http://www.modderman.com/ and pay $100...

I'm in the same predicament with the no working on cars clause. I also have about 800 miles until my belts are ready to be retensioned. At the rate I drive it will be another 3 months before i'm ready.

I have dealt with Modderman before and I must say he knows his stuff and is pretty nice albeit a bit pretentious. You might also try Steve at Rennwerks which is about a 5 minute walk from Modderman. He's super nice and very knowledgable about our cars.

Karl.
Thanks Glynn, I just spoke with David Modderman he said your car is in there today. I have an appointment tomorrow. $110 not bad. Still need to learn to check them on my own.

Thanks again

oi-punx, I had not heard of Rennwerk I will keep them in mind.
