I need to know where the hoses on the P/S pump go, I think I know where the one towards the back of the pump with the banjo bolt goes...to the steering rack? Does the other hose on the pump go to the resevoir?
I thought the P/S system used a cycle method...
resevoir

Pump--Rack
I don't see how it could cycle itself if it only has one hose going to the resevoir and one hose to the rack.
Please enlighten me on the subject as well as the hose configuration.

ok, now I see this braided lookin hose, that seems like it leads towards where the resevoir is supposed to be. If this is the hose then I understand it, and can probably figure it out. I just don't know how to route the hose on the pump, the fitting is pointing towards the block and the hose is across the engine right now over to the headlight.
I wish there was more information on how i could do this.

the pressure line from the pump has a short section of rubber hose attatched to the end of a metal line that goes from the pump to the subframe and across to the drivers side of the car, where it connects to the rear of the rack. There is a return hose from the rack that goes to a front mounted oil cooler and from there to the resevior.
