Seems to me if Calloway turbocharged an NA 944 and added 100 HP or so, you could put a 75 shot on one with decent results. I would suggest a system with four fogger nozzles, one in each intake runner. As long as you don't run lean or hit it at too low an RPM it should be OK. You might want an RPM window switch to make that easier. You will also want to make sure your fuel pressure stays high, an older car might have a weak fuel pump. A Hobb saftey switch helps.

N2O works great as long as the installer and driver know what they are doing.

I am 16 years old but appreciate the fine craftsmanship porsche has put into the 944. In a way i can understand why so many people would want to install nitrious oxide in there N/A's one being the lack of Hp mods available for N/A engines. Nistrious SEEMS to be the best solution. While in fact in the long wrong it F***s you in the *** and you'd have to do and engine rebuild and what not. Thank you fast and the furious for your false perception of the automitive world, and for givin more idiots ideas bout NAWWWS

I ran a dry NOS kit (the cheap one, #1234 IIRC)in my last 944, an 84 NA, for two years. No problems except keeping the bottle full. I ran a small (.32") jet and used a WOT switch.

It was a cheap, fun, easily removable mod. Didn't have to do an engine rebuild, didn't blow up my tranny, didn't get uncontrollable urges to add stickers to my car.

People have been using nitrous for years. Be careful and you'll probably be fine.
